Central High School students will gather at the school to pickup gloves and bags supplied by Keep Omaha Beautiful. After enjoying donuts from Pettit’s Pastry, they will then canvas downtown Omaha for trash. Trash will be left on street corners to be picked up by members of North Central States Reg

8:45 for welcome / Leave for street at 9:00am

Where: Central High School / kickoff (20th & Dodge)
Note: Downtown streets will be 24th to 10th – from Leavenworth to Cass for cleanup (Will include the Old Market area)
What: Central High School students will gather at the school to pickup gloves and bags supplied by Keep Omaha Beautiful. After enjoying donuts from Pettit’s Pastry, they will then canvas downtown Omaha for trash. Trash will be left on street corners to be picked up by members of North Central States Regional Council. Abe’s Trash Service, Inc. has donated a large dumpster that the trash will be removed.
Who: Central High Students, teachers, and Downtown Omaha Inc. members.
Background: Downtown Omaha Inc and Central High School have worked together on this project, which was a result of the City of Omaha, DOI, and Central High meeting and coming together on a project, which would involve students from CHS in the downtown area in a positive way. This is the 23rd year for this event where students and adults work together for the betterment of Downtown Omaha
